EPRA revises the prices of petroleum products as the government imposes fuel subsidy.

Well, the motorists can enjoy a sigh of relief as the government through the Energy and petroleum Regulatory Authority announced that the government has introduced some subsidies on fuel.

A press statement released by EPRA read that the government has opted to stabilize pump prices for the August-September 2023 pricing Cycle.

“In order to cushion consumers from the spike in pump prices as a consequence of the increased landed costs, the Government has opted to stabilize pump prices for the August-September 2023 pricing cycle. Oil Marketing companies will be compensated from the petroleum Development Fund(PDF).”

The super Petrol will be retailed at the following prices in major cities in Kenya; Ksh.191.62 in Mombasa, Ksh.194.68 in Nairobi Ksh. 193.77 in Nakuru, 194.53 in Eldoret, 194.52 in Kisumu.

The Diesel will be retailed at the following prices in major cities in Kenya; Ksh.176.63 in Mombasa, Ksh.179.67 in Nairobi Ksh. 179.14 in Nakuru, 179.89 in Eldoret, 179.89 in Kisumu.

The Kerosene will be retailed at the following prices in major cities in Kenya; Ksh.166.43 in Mombasa, Ksh.169.48 in Nairobi Ksh. 168.99 in Nakuru, 169.75 in Eldoret, 169.74 in Kisumu.
